Tanuki & Co 🍙

At Tanuki & Co we design and make original Japan themed goods that brighten up your day! Many of our creations are Japanese food inspired as eating yummy food brings us joy and that's what's on our mind. 

We currently make T-shirts, hats, earrings, daruma (lucky ornament), keychains, stickers and more. Our items are only available via our online shop and/or popups. Made in small batches with care and love.

We've also started doing taiyaki popups every now and then in Wellington city to share our love for Japanese food! If you're in town, come say hi!

Hi I'm Nao. Tanuki & Co for me is about finding and pursuing what I love. It’s about creating and having fun from the bottom of my heart and seeing where this journey can take me.

Over time, my work naturally became a reflection of my Japanese roots shaped by my upbringing here in Aotearoa.

I hope that my journey and creations can remind you to play more, dream more and turn your everyday into more Fundays!
